Four inches in the past hour or so. Just a light sprinkle. Oh, and I have a meeting tomorrow in Austin (I’m in the red splotch that used to be called “Houston”, now called “Water World”). Should be a fun trek tomorrow morning. Also, car related stuff:
I had to have my CTS’ timing chain replaced today. The lesson I learned due to this repair: buy new vehicles, get a 100,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty on said vehicle, and sell it with 99,999 miles on it. Wash rinse repeat. Holy shit that was expensive.

What part of town (the red splotch is big) ? Hope you are safe tonight and tomorrow. I’m watching Astros on TV and radar on the iPad. And drinking beer.

Sugar Land/Richmond. The rain keeps coming on strong and then retreating. Also, the Brazos is super high. It won’t affect my subdivision, but we might need to house some friends.

I’m high and dry on the second floor of a hotel, but we’ve had one heck of a lightning show. The power has been out twice.

Looks like we’re just North of the storm line, here in Austin. For now, anyway.
